We at "NeshamaTech" — a service operated by Eytan Englard, a registered exempt dealer (Osek Patur), Business No. 318734142 — respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
"Personal Information" is defined as information as defined in the Privacy Protection Law, 1981.
This policy is an integral part of the System's Terms of Use.
1. Consent, Database, and Legal Clarification
By registering for the system, you express your free, explicit, and informed consent to the terms set out in this Policy.
You are under no legal obligation to provide us with information.
You acknowledge that the information you provide will be stored in NeshamaTech's database, owned by Eytan Englard (Business No. 318734142).
If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, you must refrain from any use of the system.
2. What information do we collect?
We collect various types of personal information:
2.1. Information provided directly by you:
- Identification, registration, and contact details.
- Detailed profile information (which may include sensitive information):
- Demographics and personality.
- Matchmaking preferences.
- Medical information (subject to your separate consent).
- Photos and videos.
- Questionnaire answers (highly sensitive information).
- <strong>Proactive Communications (subject to your separate consent).</strong>
- Payment details (if and when relevant): when purchasing paid services or paying the success fee (which is recommended — as detailed in the Terms of Service, it is not an obligation and a different amount may be chosen), you may be asked to provide payment details. These are processed by an external PCI-compliant payment provider and are not stored in NeshamaTech's databases.
2.2. Information entered into the system by an authorized NeshamaTech matchmaker:
An authorized matchmaker may enter details about you into the system.
2.3. Information about you given to us by another person (a referral):
Someone who knows you — a relative, a friend or a companion — may give us details about you so we can check whether we have a suitable match for you. We require that person to have obtained your explicit consent in advance, and they must declare that they did. Details received this way are stored only as a pending referral, are reviewed by a member of staff, and do not become an active profile without that review. If we find a suitable match for you we will contact you, and at that point you will be told that we hold your details and who provided them. You may at any stage ask to see, correct or fully delete them, through the channels listed in the contact section. If it emerges that your details were submitted without your consent, we will delete them.
2.3. Information collected or generated automatically:
Cookies, Google Analytics, and tracking technologies:
A "Cookie" is a small text file stored on your device.
The use of non-essential cookies is subject to your explicit consent.
We use the Google Analytics service to collect and analyze anonymous statistical information.
In accordance with Google's terms of service, we inform you that our use of Google Analytics is subject to how Google collects and processes data.
You can control and manage your cookie preferences.
Log Files and Device Data: Our servers automatically collect basic technical information.
2.4. Information from additional interactions:
- Call recordings.
- Social networks.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Operate the Service.
- Communication.
- Service Improvement and Development.
- Security and Safety.
- Marketing (subject to your consent).
- Legal Obligations.
- Research and Statistics.
- Sending operational messages about your suggestions and account (a new suggestion, the other side's response, a status change, verification and security). These are the substance of the service and everyone who registers receives them. Marketing content — newsletters, offers and events — is sent separately and only with explicit consent that can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect operational messages. Participation in automatic suggestions is a separate setting under your control, changeable at any time.
3A. Use of Third-Party AI Services
Our Service uses third-party AI services to enhance the matchmaking experience.
When you use AI-powered features, the following personal data may be sent to Google's Gemini API:
- Profile information.
- Your 'About Me' text.
- Your detailed questionnaire answers.
- Your matchmaking preferences.
- Matchmaker notes associated with your profile.
This data is sent to Google's servers, which may be located outside of Israel.
Google's use of data sent via the Gemini API is governed by Google's API Terms of Service.
We may in the future use additional or alternative AI providers.
You can opt out of AI-powered features by contacting us.
By accepting these terms, you provide your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data by third-party AI services.
4. With Whom We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4a. Match suggestions — to the candidate and to those acting on their behalf
The core of the service is offering matches. By registering, and by consenting when opening a share link, you agree that NeshamaTech's matchmaking team, as well as our automated system, may reach out with match suggestions — to you directly, and to anyone you have named or who acts on your behalf in the process.
Matchmaking is rarely a purely individual process: a parent, a sibling, a grandparent, a close friend or a matchmaker often accompanies the candidate, and sometimes they are the ones who receive and review a suggestion first. Accordingly, you agree that a suggestion — including another candidate's profile details and a dedicated viewing link — may also be sent to such a person acting on your behalf, provided the approach is made for the purposes of the process and for no other purpose.
To maintain transparency and control, anyone exposed to a candidate's details through a share link must identify themselves by name, verify their phone number, and state their relationship to the candidate. These details are retained by us for database security and exposure tracking, and are not shown to other candidates. Phone verification is used for identification only — it does not create a user account and does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications.
You may ask at any time to stop receiving suggestions — for yourself or for anyone acting on your behalf — by contacting us or through your account settings. Such a request will be honoured unconditionally.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technological and organizational security measures.
6. Data Retention
We will retain your personal information as long as your account is active. In addition, records of match suggestions sent through the System, their handling status, and consents given during registration (including acknowledgment of the success fee arrangement — which, as detailed in the Terms of Service, is a recommendation and not an obligation, and a different amount than the recommended one may be given) will be retained after account closure, to the extent required to exercise NeshamaTech's rights under the Terms of Service and to comply with applicable law.
7. Your Rights
According to the Privacy Protection Law, you are entitled to review the information about you.
8. International Data Transfer
NeshamaTech may use cloud services whose servers are located outside the borders of Israel.
9. Minors
The service is intended for users over the age of 18 only.
10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy from time to time.
