1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the purchase of the paid plans — "Personal Matchmaker" and "Personal Mentor" — whether paid on the secure payment page of the site, by Bit, by bank transfer or in any other way agreed with us. The plans are a guidance service for a fixed term of six months, paid up front.
Registration, the Soul Map, suggestions on the free plan and the recommended success fee involve no payment — so there is nothing to cancel. Their rules are set out in the Terms of Service.
2. Legal framework
This policy follows the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010. A purchase made on the site or by phone is a "distance sale". Wherever this policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of law, the law prevails and your rights under it are fully preserved.
3. Cancelling within 14 days of purchase
You may cancel the transaction within 14 days of the day it was made or of the day you received the disclosure document (the receipt and the plan details sent by email) — whichever is later — provided the cancellation is made at least two business days before the service start date, if one was set.
In that case we refund the payment within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice. As the law allows, we may deduct a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction amount or ₪100 — whichever is lower — and, if the service had already started at your request (for example, the intro call took place or suggestions were already sent), the proportional value of the service actually provided.
If the cancellation is due to a defect or a mismatch between the service and what was promised, no cancellation fee is charged.
4. Stopping the plan after 14 days
After 14 days you can still stop the plan at any time with a written notice. From that moment we stop the guidance services — proactive search, suggestions within the plan and mentoring sessions.
In that case the proportional part of the payment for the full months remaining until the end of the term is refunded, less a cancellation fee as permitted by law. A month that has begun counts as used.
5. Our commitment — 5 quality suggestions
Alongside all of the above, our commitment stands: if by the end of the six-month term you have not received at least 5 quality suggestions — profiles a matchmaker personally reviewed and judged right for you — you are entitled to a full refund, with no cancellation fee.
The commitment applies to the Personal Matchmaker plan and to the Personal Mentor plan sold alongside it. It does not depend on how you answered the suggestions or on how the dates went — only on us having sent you quality suggestions.
6. How to cancel
A cancellation notice is given in writing in one of the following ways. It is enough to state your name and the email address you registered with:

We confirm receipt in writing within one business day. The cancellation date is the date the notice was delivered.
7. How the refund is paid
The refund goes back to the payment method used: a credit to the card through Sumit (our payment provider), or a refund to the account the transfer or Bit payment came from. A refund document is emailed with the refund.
The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice. When the credit appears in your account depends on your card company or bank.
8. Payments by Bit, transfer or any other way
This policy applies equally to a plan paid outside the site. The refund goes to the same account, and we will ask for account details only if we do not already have them.
9. Success fee
The recommended success fee at a wedding is a recommendation, not a charge, and is not a "transaction" that requires cancellation. It is unrelated to the paid plans and is not offset against them.
